The Geko 101 is the smallest most basic GPS yet, and because it
weighs just over 3 oz. it won't weigh you down either. The Geko 101 is
waterproof and it's simple operations make it suitable even for young
people. You can mark up to 250 locations (called waypoints) and assign
them a name and graphic icon. You can then navigate to these points
using the GoTo function which will provide bearing and distance to your
point. As you move the Geko will record your track and the "TracBack"
function allows to you retrace your path home. At the heart of this
unit is Garmin's famous 12 channel GPS receiver which provides a
position accuracy of 50 feet. The Geko 101 will operate up to 12 hours
