Many GPS devices with small built-in antennas can lose reception in tough conditions. The Vortech system gives you the performance and versatility to keep locked on to the satellites. It can be used for auto, marine and RV applications, or even indoors! Plug the Vortech into a 12 Volt DC outlet and the unique, wide-area reradiator uses the power to transmit an amplified signal to your GPS receiver. Since the Vortech System doesn't require a direct connection to the GPS, it will work with any model and is ideal for auto, RV and boating applications where roofs and overheads block satellite signals. Even if your GPS receiver does have an external antenna jack the Vortech will still help improve the performance by plugging directly into your GPS via the universal connector system. The kit includes a high performance amplified GPS antenna, wide area reradiator with suction cup attachment, 12 volt cigarette lighter adapter, and a universal connector kit for direct attachment to GPS receivers that do have external antenna capability.
